I was staying over night as a guest at a wedding. I found the staff more than pleasant and very helpful. The room we stayed in was first class
I liked Harvey's Point Hotel because of the beautiful location and the gorgeous scenery. the bedrooms were also gorgeous and very comfortable-the height of luxury!
Harveys point should be a 5 star hotel. It has everything you could wish for and more. We stay here a few times per year and it never fails to satisfy. The staff make you feel so special. We cruise every year on holidays but tha food at Harveys is a gastronomic delight. The rooms are amazing and among the most comfortable we have ever stayed in.
it was a magical experience. from the welcoming reception to our reluctant departure we were treated superbly. thankyou
good food plenty of space eg residents lounge
lack of sports and swimming facilities lack of radio service on tv even thoughit its availability was advetised
A very well managed hotel. Every aspect of the hotel was excellent. We booked an Executive room which was both spacious and luxurious and which contained a very comfortable bed and very large, well appointed bathroom. Exceptional meals in the hotel restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff who were professional at all times. This hotel is a great credit to the family owners and management.
We could find no fault with this hotel nor its excellent staff.
Location very nice
Dining room badly laid out and cold, curtains drab looking
We had the most amazing, relaxing weekend break.
The hotel is amazing, it's set in wonderful countryside on the edge of Lough Eske. The rooms are huge and so luxurious you won't want to leave. The breakfast buffet has an amazing array of wonderful things to chose from (if the chefs are carving slices of gammon have some, it's delicious) and if you can get a table by the window you'll have fantastic views of the lough too. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and manage to make everyone feel special. It's a bit pricey compared to other places but really worth it for a treat, you'll be guaranteed a wonderful stay.
The cabaret and dinner evening was total class and the main reason we paid our 1st visit to Harveys Point. We would be interested to return during the winter months if there was a similar event during this time.We must also commend the excellent staff, always ready with a smile and well turned out.
everything, welcome, hospitality ,service, food and comfort
I loved everything about Harvey's Point,the room,the food,the service,the location.it is beautiful.
Spotlessly clean, luxurious executive room. Very large. Great view over lough. Staff efficient and friendly. Food of a very high standard. Gammon carvery at breakfast, a special addition. Quiet hotel.
There was a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious and great recipes - good European options and vegetarian ones also.
The room was unnecessarily large. I like space but this was excessive. No need for different sections of room. The bed wasn't comfortable - not soft enough. The duvet was too heavy. Would have loved a view other than the car park. Real door to the bathroom. I like my privacy!!
Harvey's Point is a fabulous hotel in every respect. It does need leisure facilities as there is little else to do other than walk in pleasant surroundings or drive for miles to somewhere else. I feel this is an essential addition overlooked thus far, and would complement or even increase the rating to 5 star.
I asked for a room overlooking the Lough both from your booking site and from the hotel. I booked way back in April and the hotel was far from full but got the car park view instead !! Why does such an hotel not pay attention to these important customer requests ?? Could it be that everbody in residence booked prior to April or that I should have created a fuss.....you choose.
